Shipping PolicyAustralian Orders
Please allow 1-3 days for orders to be processed and packaged. We will endeavour to send out your package to you as soon as possible but please be patient with us during busy periods. The majority of packages sent via standard shipping should arrive within 7 working days in metro areas from date of shipping confirmation. Please allow for discrepancies to this timeline if you live regionally or during peak shopping periods.
All art prints are made to order and will take longer to ship (up to 7 working days), as they need to be printed. This will be communicated to you via the individual product pages as well.
For all purchases in Australia, a $9 standard flat rate shipping fee applies.
Tracking Your Order
You will receive a tracking number via email once your parcel has shipped. You can use this to keep up to date with the delivery status of your parcel.
Packing Your Order
At The Tartan Space we endeavour to continue to educate ourselves and research more environmentally friendly ways to go about certain processes. All soft goods come wrapped in eco-friendly, custom designed tissue paper. Our soft goods mailers are 100% home compostable and can be re-used by taking care to cut along the dotted line when opening your package and then re-sealing the mailer with the second sticky seal provided at a later date. All art prints are shipped from our fine art printer on the Gold Coast. These are packaged with the utmost care as the paper and print are very delicate. Due to this, some plastic is used in order to protect the prints from damage during the shipping process.
Return PolicyWe hope you love your new purchase for your home. However, if for some reason you are not completely happy with your item, you may return the merchandise for a full refund less shipping costs. You must notify us within 5 days of inspecting the goods in person and return goods to us within 10 days of return being accepted in order to be eligible.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us as soon as possible if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items. Art prints that are made to order can also not be returned, unless they are defective.
Please notify us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org stating your order number, item details and whether you would like a refund or exchange. Please allow 3-5 business days for your return request to be processed. We will notify you once we’ve received and reviewed your return request, and let you know if the refund was accepted or not. If accepted, we’ll then send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Return postage for refunds or exchanges is to be paid for by the customer.
Our soft mailers can be re-used to send soft goods back to us. Simply cut on the dotted line when first opening your parcel and then peel off the paper on the second sticky seal when re-using mailer. Voila! You’ll also need the proof of purchase with your return parcel.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Refunds and exchanges will only be made once the item has been returned in original condition. Items must be unwashed, unused with tags intact. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Original postage costs will be subtracted from the receipt total (even if free shipping was offered with purchase) in order to cover our costs of sending the item to you. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. We appreciate your patience with this.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you really want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
